Squat at Marseillan Plage

Marseillan

to Mr. Michel,

Mayor of Marseillan

Hello Mayor,

After several complaints, Calls and boaters, I allow myself to draw your attention to a situation that poses a problem in the premises and around the Marseillan Plage sanitary block.

You will find at the bottom three photos that I took this morning even at 10 a.m. : They testify to the presence of a young homeless man since this summer who "squat" the premises by blocking the door ajar (beware of the heating bill by the way) so that his dog can come and go I suppose, who sleeps there and you have to step back if you want to go to the toilet or shower, crossing your fingers so that the dog (whose physiognomy and character do not really engage in providing caresses) are no longer there ... Beyond threatening barking or grunts towards boaters and walkers, The animal has also attacked at least one other dog and apparently chased several others since this summer .

I was not able to join an olfactory testimony of the sanitary block, And it's a shame because it would have been edifying too ...

This sad observation which does not prevent to experience empathy towards this boy in difficulty leads me to point out this situation which is unbearable for both users and tourists and finally for the safety of the port: No doubt we can alert social services which must have multiple and varied resources and take over to help this person who seems to be delivered to himself, almost in disrepair.

Thanking you in advance for the attention you want to pay this email, Please believe in my best feelings.

A Marseillan, on 30-11-2022
