Wednesday Port Council report 20 SEPTEMBER 2023
The session begins at 17 H05 (13 members participate) And ends at 7:30 p.m..
Point 1- The last CP report (13/06) is adopted without essential remarks.
Point 2- The company "L’Etoile de Thau" requires a location for a new fast show
about 8m on the Antonin Gros quay, To embark and disembark their customers in partnership
with conchyls: No room to be allocated except on a stopover location (15 places
stopover on the port, far from 10% regulatory linear on 220 Boats moored in Marseillan
Ville). An offer of a contract 2 X 6 month is offered after the "CDT Marius" towards the exit of the port,
Instead of the "until the end" which will release a stopover place as soon as it is going to be "deconstructed"
(Meeting with the town hall scheduled for early October). I insisted on our refusal to reduce the boats
already moored behind the "Diane" to install the show.
Point 3- "Marine land", A scientific association requires a place for a hybrid cat
8,30 X 3M (ability to 13 Participants /members - day -to -day, general or school)
For educational outings on the pond. "Philosophy-natural" project intended for observation and
nature protection. Before offering a stopover contract from March to November, need
obtain additional information on contracts (With Ifremer or Adena) and
Association funding, which is validated by the applicants.
On this occasion, Some lively exchanges between Mr. Roussille and I took place in connection with
"unfair competition" – is a cyt – that represents the activity of associations (Atouants and its
competitor who offer to participate in sailing outings with skipper in a very large audience
for a very moderate cost and not boats at very different prices and without
skipper) : No one has intervened ...
Point 4- 2024 pricing: No discussion possible as it is, since the agglo must provide the
provisional budget (Financial and costs), The discussion is postponed to the next CP. The
question of catamarans is however addressed using the rates charged in the ports
surrounding: the almost general practice of applying a price (X 1,5) depending on the length of
boat will probably be selected, no particular pricing being in force until
present in our 2 ports. Likewise the question of access to launching and trailers
invasive to Marseillan Ville will be treated during the next CP: We must offer measures to
adjust their entries and parking.
Various questions
1/ No place for a second boat granted to "Marseillan Diving", No space in the parking lot
neither: It is not desirable to create a previous one in this too small car park
For all users-year-olds. The manager cannot be a candidate to be elected Clupp, only
Plaisanciers can be: He is advised to put himself in touch with the
professionals to be able to represent Marseillan beach as he wished.
2/Request for partnership with the town hall on the part of a recycling workshop of old battages
who wants to market his "creations": The town hall is not competent, It will be necessary to address
The Agglo who is a decision -maker.
3/ Securing access to sanitary facilities on 2 ports: codes, grilles, doors,
Guarding ... The night presence of a goalkeeper with dog was envisaged for the summer in Marseillan
Beach : 2 quote were presented (of 24900 at 30000 € from 15 June to 30 August!!!!!!!) Here again,
need to have the budget (see above) before discussion, Discount to the next CP.
On this subject, Let me recall the incidents of this summer: repeatedly (And it's not the
first year that this happens) The sanitary facilities of Marseillan Plage were invested by
Families of "Travelers" who caused altercations with users after the time of
Closure of the harbor master's office, By leaving the premises in a deplorable state in addition to the threats
repeated and intimidation. Not to mention the abusive use of water to wash their jet ski,
their trailers and their vans on the platform on the other side of the canal while we cannot even
not rinse our boats! A complaint was filed, Municipal police intervened, I alerted by
Mail Port services, the mayor and the prefect: The next day, the mediator stationed at
Montpellier came to realize the situation, The doors were quickly changed to
way to no longer be able to open them by pulling over several. Very quickly a mini-reunion was
held to consider the necessary measures to ensure the respect and safety of users ...
Summer ended, The invasion too. Business.
4/ The Clupp AG will be held on Saturday 25 Next November: need to clarify the methods of
the election that will have to designate 3 representatives and 3 alternates for a mandate of 5 ans (Only elected officials
can vote in the port council) . M. Garcia is asked to prepare a Memento as soon as possible
we will be addressed. Rappel: The Clupp is composed exclusively of boating users: Thank you for being
present and vote in election the 25 November.
Cordially yours,
P/l’APPM, Claude Bobin, on 21/09/23
